Hello lovelies!

Beltane-tide is already in full swing for me, how about you? Here's a round-up as we move into May...

I shared some impromptu musings on Instagram, with a mini-ritual for Beltane that you can watch here if you like, to soak up some of the summer sun energy.

I love to tread that line between performance and magic, story and spirit-work, so on Beltane Eve I performed as the Faery Doctor - my medicinal, interactive storytelling show with healing tales - at the Bank Vault (next Wednesday I'll be at the Scottish Storytelling Centre for TradFest!)...

... and last Friday Milly Jackdaw and I brought our spoken word show, Thereby Hangs a Tale to Aberystwyth. We debuted this last year at the Willow Globe Theatre (during a storm!) and it is an epic piece including eight stories, extracts from Shakespeare, storytelling, acting, music, spoken word pieces, and a donkey hat.

I know I've been a bit quiet on the music front recently, so I'd like to share a sneak peek of a piece in progress. This song is called Silenced or Seen and is inspired by one of my favourite stories - can you spot which one? Listen here!​
